Here's another little beauty from a drop of Northaw pond water. Nick thinks it might be a Bdelloid Rotifer whereas I'm more inclined towards the Monogonont. We have such informed and interesting conversations; it STILL amazes me that we don't get invited to more parties.
Anyway, the best bit is watching the particles swirling around its mouth as it feeds:
What do you mean by "we don't get invited to more parties"? I get invited to a few, but they always beg me not to bring "Mr Monogonont" ;-)
