Answer: not even a quid!
I put these on ebay last week, and thought I'd make a killing. The magazines are from 1908 and 1909:
Full of fascinating adverts articles and images from the earliest days of photography. They sold for 99p the pair ;-(
"If you can't get back to the land, you can always get back to Country Life." Smoking as a substitute for sport and being outside in nature: love it!
Ah well, I managed to get £7.50 for UniM's bags, and there's plenty more where that came from

I think you need to set the price high for niche items due to fewer bidders, collectors can pick up rare items cheaply because of this..
