I posted these pics of raindrops on roses almost 2 years ago.
The light was low so the quality wasn't great.
I couldn't work out what these "craters" were. Surely a raindrop must be spherical?

For busy 4AoSers, the answer is that they are actually refractions of other drops behind the main one.
